ROSIE SANDERS creates neo-classically inspired luxury jewellery with a contemporary feminine edge. From scroll medallions to neoclassical knuckledusters each piece is skillfully hand crafted from precious metals, enamel and gemstones. With a background in anthropology and fine art, which Rosie studied at The School of Oriental & African Studies and The Slade School of Art, each curvaceous collection celebrates scrolls as enduring symbols of opulence and power, what Rosie refers to as ‘Neoclassical Couture’.
Things I have done:
Travelled solo overland through the Bolivian jungle to Brazil and sailed down the Amazon on cargo boats, living in a hammock and swimming with pink dolphins!
Things I do now: Design, Create & Teach
Things I hope to achieve in the future: To realize all the collections in my head!!
My biggest achievements so far:
Launching my own brand of ‘Neoclassical Couture’ with my Renaissance Rebel collection and getting my work in the Wallace Collection Museum in London.
Three words that describe me are:
Creative & ambitious, tempered by a good sense of humour.
I am inspired by:
Antiquity & culture clash
My Favourite Jeweller is:
Impossible to pick one!
