Let's add some beautiful gemstones to your work! In this day course, you will be guided by a tutor to make a silver bangle and set a simple cabochon stone using a pre-made bezel cup - the perfect introduction to stone setting.
Techniques covered include:
- How to make a silver bangle using wire
- Forming shaping and soldering silver
- Working with bezel cups and setting a cabochon stone
- If there is time there will also be the chance to make a second piece/ pair of earrings
There are a maximum of 8 students per class, allowing plenty of 1-2-1 support from the tutor.
All materials including your silver is provided and you will make 1-2 pieces to take away with you. One real gemstone will be provided as well as sample stones.

As with all of our classes, all materials are included in the cost of the class as well as plenty of tea, coffee and luxury biscuits! The classes are all run by expert tutors with years of professional experience who are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable.
We take an hour break for lunch and there are plenty of local shops to get food from, or you can always bring a packed lunch to eat in the studio. If you have any questions regarding this, or other courses please don't hesitate to get in touch.
