Xuella Arnold - Jewellery Tutor
Beginners to advanced metal clay and silver jewellery classes, including stone setting and enameling.
Previous Qualifications & Training:
BA (Hons ) grade 1 in 3-D Design from Bucks University.
How did you get involved in making jewellery?:
Reading a book called Africa Adorned by Angela Fisher when I was 15, then enrolling at Art College and finally doing my degree.
Things I have done:
Exhibited at many different galleries and taught at many different venues.
Things I do now:
I run many different jewellery classes in both traditional and PMC techniques. Designing and making jewellery for shops, fairs and galleries, particularly combining PMC with traditional silver techniques.
My biggest achievement so far:
Writing a PMC book by Search Press in 2008.
Things I hope to achieve in the Future:
I would like to continue what I'm doing, but keep improving and learning new techniques and finish my masters level 1 in Metal Clay.
