An Amazing Year at London Jewellery School
2011 has been nothing if not exciting for us here at LJS and we wanted to share a few of our best bits with you…
Throughout the past 12 months we have taught 2713 students in 583 classes, have signed up 18 new students to the Diploma in Creative Jewellery and sold over 30 copies of our brand new Jewellery Business Distance Learning Course launched earlier this month.
We have worked our way through bucket loads of beads and used more than 7680 grams of metal clay!
We held our annual student competition won by the lovely Natasha Williams, held two packed-out opening evenings and of course recently had our infamous Christmas party packed full of prizes and goody bags galore. Not to mention meeting the Prime Minister, Mr. David Cameron in a trip to Downing Street and making some excellent partnerships with jewellers and organisations in our field.
But we couldn’t do it all, or any of it really, without the excellent support of every one of our lovely students. We greatly appreciate everyone who has come along to our courses, made beautiful pieces and helped to make LJS a success. We want to wish you the very best of luck for 2012 and hope to see you again in the not too distant future.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Happy Making,
LJS x
