From 4th-7th September, Earls Court hosts London’s largest jewellery trade show which finishes this Wednesday so if you can, make sure you get down to take a look as it is a great souce of information and inspiration for budding jewellers. As it is a trade show it is aimed at jewellers but as a student of LJS it is free to get in, you just need to pre-register online at www.jewellerylondon.com

Student Spotlight: Hollybird Beads
As you may remember avid beadweaver and LJS student Nicole Stanley was awarded second place in our student competition last month and so we thought we would give you a sneek peek at what she is up to. LJS Open Evening: Thurday 22nd September
Come along for the evening to see our studios, meet some of the tutors, take a look at our students work and have a drink while you at it!
This relaxed and informal evening is open to past and present students as well as prospective ones who would like to take a look at LJS and find out more about our courses or browse our new shop and ask us any burning questions. Make a Bib Necklace: New Class!
Bib necklaces are all the rage and, not one to be left behind here at LJS we have a new taster class starting this month where complete beginners can make a leather bib necklace to take home for just £35 (exc. VAT). Our expert tutor for this class is the talented Hayley Kruger who’s stunning work has been seen in Vogue, Metro and exhibited at the V&A and London Fashion Week to name a few.
