Our night at the (British) Museum…
The London Jewellery School has recently been commissioned to deliver a series of workshops at the British Museums for their sleepovers, around the theme of Hajj: Journey to the Heart of Islam. This is in collaboration with LJS tutor and professional jeweller Sima Vaziry who has produced work in the past for the British Museum exhibitions. Last weekend was our first sleepover and 4 lovely LJS tutors went along, beads-in-hand to teach some fun and creative jewellery making workshops. Take a look at some of the pics from the night below….
We started around 7pm and didn’t finish until midnight and when we came out everywhere was covered in snow!
We had lots of fun delivering the workshops and had plenty of excellent feedback from the children and young people that took part. Now we just can’t wait for the next one!
If you fancy having a go at some jewellery making and haven’t checked out our classes yet, do have a look at www.londonjewelleryschool.co.uk
Until next time,
Happy Making, LJS x
