You ask, we listen – new evening classes and packages from London Jewellery School

Here at London Jewellery School, we do want to know what our students think which is why we ask you to fill in feedback forms at the end of classes and, as recently, run customer surveys.

Of course the cynics amongst you might think that this generates a lot of unread paper, but in fact we regularly look at what you are asking for and try to fit in new classes and options when we can. So we have just introduced some new classes we hope will meet with approval.

We’ve already mentioned the Soldering with Metal Clay class on the blog – the first one of these runs on Tuesday and we will be chatting to the students about what other classes could help them progress with their metal clay work.

Meanwhile we are introducing a new silver jewellery evening class for students with some silversmithing experience. The Soldering and Stone Setting 6 week evening class is designed to give you the skills to create more complex shapes to your jewellery and to add stones of different shapes and sizes.

Our other new evening class – 6 week Jewellery Design & Drawing Evening Class – combines elements of our Fashion Jewellery, Jewellery Design and Technical Drawing classes, to give you a grounding in gathering inspiration, developing ideas and drawing your designs both as sketches and full technical drawings. This is a must for anyone who wants to develop a collection or design portfolio.

Another thing you have told us recently is that you would like other options included in the silver jewellery class package. While it is impossible to offer every combination we have added a Level 2 Silver Package – combining the fold-forming, 2-day stone setting and cold connections classes so that you can book all three and save over £80.

And finally because we know many of you would like to try more than one thing or enjoy an evening out at a taster class, you can now book four taster sessions for the price of three with our Taster Package.
